Our team are gearing up to return to Barcelona later this month for the 30th edition of Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global (SEG) – the world’s largest seafood exhibition.
Team Scotland will showcase numerous Scottish producers from different regions across the country, representing every step of the sea-to-plate journey and featuring a diverse array of fishers and processors.
The event will also be an opportunity for the Seafood from Scotland team to engage with buyers, media, and producers from across Europe ahead of the organisation co-hosting the Responsible Seafood Summit with Global Seafood Alliance, taking place in St Andrews later this year.
Renowned chef Steve Walpole and his team will be on hand to provide delicious dishes at the Scottish Seafood Bar, while, for the very first time, cookery demonstrations will take place to let visitors get a taste of our premium products first hand.
We will also be hosting a media brunch on Wednesday, April 24, bringing together a range of journalists to meet with some of Scotland’s leading producers and learn about what makes our products among the very best in the world.
